The Eco Friendly Discharge Companion 2 is a larger version of our coalesce type oily water separator.
This is our premium yacht quality version of the Eco Friendly Discharge Companion. The unit is constructed of 1/4" plate aluminum with polished Stainless Steel bezels surrounding the viewing windows and finished in Awlgrip Matterhorn white. There is additional coalescing media in the central collection chamber.  The lid raises on a stainless steel piano hinge for easy cleaning.

    This version of the Eco Friendly Discharge Companion can be used as a stand alone system receiving its  flow from the Series 9 Arid Bilge System.
We also offer as part of an extended system the Deckma Hamburg Oil Monitoring Device to assure a legal discharge is maintained below the 15 PPM level required within US coastal waters. The extended system that we offer includes the following components in order of bilge water flow.

1. The Arid Bilge System
2. The Eco Friendly Discharge Companion
3. A 24 Volt sump
4. Twin Mycelex polishing cartridges connected in series
5. Flow Stabilizer - venting the air bubbles from flow
6. The Deckma Hamburg Oil Monitoring Device with pre-installed 1/2"  barbed fittings, modified flow restrictor and prewired to the Control and Alarm box
7. A vented loop - to maintain a wet cell in the Deckma Hamburg
8. Another 24 volt sump with power drawn from the Control and Alarm box
9. Dedicated thru hull fitting 3/4" recommended with ball valve

The Deckma Hamburg (see item 6. above) comes with a United States Coast Guard Certificate of Approval and is compliant with 46 CFR 162.050.
The Deckma Hamburg oil monitoring device has been examined and tested in accordance with the requirements of IMO Resolution MEPC.60(33).
